Historic Achievements Mark the 4th Round of Formula Drift in New Jersey

Last weekend, the GT Radial team shone brightly in the 4th round of Formula Drift in New Jersey, achieving impressive and historic results. Driver Odi Bakchis demonstrated determination and skill by fighting his way to the finals and securing second place on the podium.

Additionally, the 2nd round of the ProSpec series brought a significant milestone for the sport. GT Radial driver Amanda Sorenson made history by becoming the first female driver to podium in any Formula Drift race, securing second place. This achievement not only highlights Amanda's talent but also represents an important step forward for inclusion and diversity in motorsports.

With these results, the GT Radial team remains strong in the title race. We currently hold the second position in the Tire Cup standings and are in 2nd and 4th places in the driver points race, with half the season still to go.

 

 

The next challenge will be in St. Louis, from July 18-20, where the team hopes to continue its successful trajectory and seek new victories. Stay tuned for more excitement and triumphs in the world of Formula Drift!
